Welcome to my digital space!
I'm Eric Mutugi Ndege, a versatile JavaScript fullstack web developer. With a focus on frontend technologies such as ReactJs, NextJs, Redux, Material UI, and Typescript, I craft engaging user interfaces. On the backend, I harness the power of NodeJs and ExpressJs, coupled with MongoDB for seamless database management.
A Brief Introduction:
Originating from the scenic slopes of Mount Kenya's eastern side, I hail from Nkubu, a quiet town in Meru county. My academic journey led me through Gankondi Primary School and Kanyakine Boys Boarding for my primary education, followed by Meru School for my secondary studies. While I started at Jomo Kenyatta University, financial constraints led me to pause my formal education.
From Meter Reader to Tech Enthusiast:
I embarked on a unique path, joining Kenya Power as a meter reader. Simultaneously, I pursued an ICT course at KASNEB, completing it in January 2018. Amidst these experiences, my passion for programming ignited, propelling me to explore coding as a hobby. Beginning with Java servlets on a Tomcat server and MySQL for an ICT project, I quickly transitioned to JavaScript.
Explore my projects, A Journey of Flexibility and Innovation:
JavaScript's flexibility opened new doors for me. Leveraging ReactJs/Next, Material UI, and Redux, I created elegant frontend experiences. Meanwhile, the dynamic duo of NodeJS and ExpressJs formed my responsive backend foundation. The cloud-based MongoDB emerged as the perfect fit for web apps, eliminating the need for local installations.
